McCall: Passport to love series (English Edition) Reviews
A well written page turner that was hard to put down (ok, I didn't, I finished it in 1 day) that makes the characters larger then life yet still relatable. The story of a woman in search of herself that found a place and made it hers, and found true love after not knowing she needed it. The struggles she goes through, the friends she makes and the places she goes make you laugh, cry, wonder and leaves you completely satisfied. A thoroughly enjoyable read, I can't wait to go back to McCall. This won't be the last book I read of this author. You should read her too!
I absolutely adored this story! I love when I take a chance on a book and it knocks my socks off. This romance features a sweet hot butch and a smart sassy femme, both deliciously appealing individually and together they are off the charts! The story takes place in a beautiful setting and has solid supporting characters. The awesome dialogue flows effortlessly and I found myself unable to put the book down. I'm so happy I read this book! I'll be reading more from this author.
I enjoyed this read, more so the beginning than the ending. At first i felt the two characters had a good amount of tension between them but as the book progressed, that tension turned a little more into attraction and a little more into nothing. Obstacles were overcome way too easily which didnt fit with the beginning well enough for me. Regardless, i did enjoy it and I look forward to the next one in the series.
I wish I'd realized before buying this that the author was going to use "head hopping" - meaning switching back and forth between the main characters' POVs during scenes where they're interacting. It's just not for me to have each paragraph start and I don't already know which character is going to be narrating. I wasn't able to finish it because of this, but before that started I was really enjoying the characters and the way the plot was being set up.
The story was just a feel good story about how doing that certain someone makes your life perfect. The small town feel and everyone pulling together just makes the stories endearing.
