Seattle Travel Guide 2015 (English Edition) Reviews
Es war für mich eine neue Erfahrung - ein Reiseführer für den Kindle.Links führen direkt auf die Websides der Sehenswürdigkeiten.
This book was very interesting, some places are newer than what I remember being raised in Seattle. Some of the locations were a bit newer too. It is times like this when I miss the Emerald City. Prices, best places to park, even the availability of buses and where they stop are included here. I would recommend this to anyone who plans on making a trip there. The only piece she missed was the "Seattle Underground' which is located in Pioneer Square. Otherwise I was more than impressed
This appears to be a self published book , but not edited very well if at all. The pictures are black & white taken from various Flickr accounts and most of the info is from tripadvisor or the net. It is a good list and it is all in one place , but I almost get the feeling the author has never been to Seattle . Apologies if I'm off the mark . I'm just sayin is all.
Is this self-published? Poor photographs, only in black and white. Sketchy, incomplete information. Sometimes the author just provides Website urls. Sometimes the author provides phone numbers for destinations, but often, not. Spend a little more money and get something useful. No maps!!
Poor grammar. Their is used in places where it should be there. Few other errors which were a distraction. Information about the buses and trains are my favorite. We have not taken our trip yet, so more to come.
This is a helpful list that gave me some ideas for my next trip to Seattle. But it needs a good editing. The grammar and spelling errors left me feeling a bit uneasy, and then I found a problem in one of the attraction entries. Pike Place is not the nearest public transit stop to Kubota Garden. It is almost 10 miles away! A quick trip to the King County Metro Trip Planner website confirms that there is a bus that goes almost right to the garden. And Kubota Garden is not listed in the table of contents, I found it first by browsing the book, then had to search to get back to it. I'll probably use this publication for ideas about places to go, but do my own research for the facts.
