Your Baby Week By Week: The ultimate guide to caring for your new baby Reviews
I am expecting and am half way through this book. It is very informative and definitely prepares me for what's coming. I figure that once the baby arrives, I won't be able to read it as carefully but then I will know exactly where in the book to look for the information I need. Highly recommend it!P.S., this book intends to give you an idea what to expect (just like in "what to expect when you are expecting"), so don't assume your baby's development happens exactly as the book describe week by week. Every baby is different and this book provides a good guideline.
Very good and balanced advice, and comforting encouragement. A very useful way of dividing the chapters per week, as I feel I can afford the time to read just a few pages at the beginning of each week even when I felt I couldn't leave the baby for one second!
Don't think if I even finished reading the book. Can't remember anything from it. For that, can't really comment further.
A very good manual for anyone with a new baby. Predicts very well baby's progress as well as reminders for other baby-related tasks.
This book is full of outdated and indeed dangerous advice! Don’t buy it, there are far better books out there. Anyone who can advocate, for example, letting your child cry until they are sick is just plain crazy and very very wrong! That is abuse and any book that advises that should be banned!
This book tried to give mothers a handling manual for a little human. There is no such thing. Every child is different. The methodes described are outdated and plain damaging and dangerous. This is my opinion as a mother and a ObGyn.
